Two major programmes are ongoing, supported respectively by the Tata Relief Committee and the STAR TV Pvt. Ltd., in post-disaster sustainable livelihood aspects. Both programmes together aimed at restoring the livelihoods of almost 10,000 disaster affected households in 95 villages of the districts of Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Uttarkashi and Pithoragarh. The focus of the programme is on rebuilding livelihoods through on-farm as well as off-farm activities.

The Hans foundation is one of the major donors of Himmotthan Society and providing grants to two program i.e. E-WASH and Livestock support program. Recently, The Hans Foundation has provided financial grant-in-aid to MMAP program for livelihood promotion in Garhwal and Kumaon region.
The Titan Company Limited is one of the oldest private sector entities of India and in response to the call for support after the devastating flash flood in Uttarakhand in coordination with Himmotthan Society, Dehradun, it has initiated the Integrated Village Development Project (IVDP) in 20 villages of district Tehri Garhwal. The IVDP project was started in April 2015 and is expected to deliver its objective by 2020 to provide relief and rehabilitation support to the disaster affected families of project area for bringing their lives into normalcy.
